VW Beetle gets ready for SEMA debut – lineup announced image

Volkswagen has announced the Beetle lineup for the 2012 SEMA Motor Show in Las Vegas which will officially open its gates to the public this week.

According to the German based automaker, a variety of custom Volkswagen Beetle vehicles will be officially presented to the public this week during the 2012 SEMA Motor Show in Las Vegas. The first one to make its debut at the over-seas automotive event will be the APR-VWvortex Beetle Turbo with its AWD And impressive 500 BHP (373 kW), thanks to the upgraded fuel system, APR Stage IV GTX turbocharger, high-performance intercooler, new ECU, high-strength pistons, high-flow cylinder heads, DXD Racing Stage III clutch, APR RSC turboback exhaust system and short-throw shifter.

The model is also getting the VW Racing StreetSport+ camber plates, the H&R coil-over suspension or the H&R sport sway bars. Besides the APR-VWvortex Beetle Turbo, the Beach Battle Beetle will also make its public debut at SEMA this year with its deployable shower system, surfboard rack, FMS Automotive body kit, new exhaust and intake and 400 BHP. Additional details on the two Beetle models are limited for the moment and will be announced shortly.
