VW Eos Facelift – first look image

After four year, VW gives EOS first facelift. The 2011 VW EOS Facelift looks generally the same as the old EOS.

However there are some modifications, a set of new engines and some new options to choose from.
The vehicle adopts the new VW family face and is scheduled to make its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

At the front we have a new and less prominent, upper grille which is now completely separated from the lower part. Of course VW has adopted the new type of headlights with LED running lights.
On the back we have a revised bumper housing a diffuser and new, rectangular-shaped tail lamps with, course, LED technology.


Inside, the 2011 VW EOS Facelift comes with a new steering wheel, the new multi-functional color display on the center console, Keyless locking, Keyless Access, Park Assist and remote light control (Light Assist). Interesting is the new special cool leather finish that reflects the sun.



Talking about the engines, the 2011 VW EOS Facelift comes with one diesel engine and three petrol engines. The 2.0-TDI diesel engine that produce 140 PS (103 kW) gets regenerative braking and Start Stop technology, which means the 2011 Volkswagen EOS facelift need 4.8-litres of fuel per 100 K.m


If you want petrol, then VW gives 2011 VW EOS Facelift comes with a 122 hp 1.4 TSI, which is followed by a 160 hp engine and by a 210 hp 2.0 TSI engine (this is borrowed from the Golf GTI).


In Germany the 2011 VW EOS Facelift will start at 27,975 Euro.
