The aftermarket specialists at ABT Sportsline have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgrade package for the VW Golf 7, which will make its public debut in Geneva, next week.
ABT Sportsline has prepared a new upgrade package for the Volkswagen Golf, this time for the seventh generation of the model, which will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, on the 5th of March. According to the tuning company, the VW Golf 7 will make its way to the Swiss automotive event with two power kits, with a quad exhaust setup, with a custom sports suspension and with some styling tweaks like the splitter, diffuser or side skirts.
The 1.4 liter TSI engine used on the Golf 7 is now getting a total output of 160 HP (118 kW), compared to the standard 122 HP (90 kW). Diesel lovers will be able to order the 2.0 liter TDI unit, which is producing an extra 20 HP, to a total of 170 HP (125 kW), compared to the previous 150 HP (110 kW). The upgrade package is ending with the 19-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in 225/35 tires. More details on ABT’s Golf 7 will be announced in Geneva.
