Volkswagen has announced the introduction of a new trim level for the Golf, in the United Kingdom, which has been called the Match.
The seventh generation of the Volkswagen Golf has dropped the SE trim level in the United Kingdom for the Match. This is adding some additional equipment for the same money and it has the standard front and rear parking sensors, the automatic folding mirrors with puddle lights, the 16-inch Dover alloy wheels and some other tweaks, which should make it quite popular with clients looking for a C-segment hatchback in the country.
Customers will also be getting the Adaptive Cruise Control with the Front Assist and City Emergency braking, the automatically dimming rearview mirror, the automatic wipers and headlights, the PreCrash preventive protection system and more. As far as the engine lineup goes, this will include the 1.4 TSI with 122 HP BlueMotion, with the 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG, along with the 1.6 liter TDI With 105 HP and a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG, along with the 6-speed manual or 6-speed DSG 2.0 liter TDI with 150 HP. Prices for the VW Golf Match start from 19,680 GBP for the three-door version.
