VW Polo R WRC Street gets updated by B&B image

B&B has officially unveiled the Polo R WRC Street and the model in question has received a massive power boost.

The Volkswagen Polo R WRC Street has been created in order to celebrate the company’s return to WRC and this model is coming, in standard, with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine, rated at 217 HP (162 kW) and 349 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. B&B is offering some lower stages of power for the vehicle mentioned above but we won’t tell you anything on the first two, because the Stage 3 is the most important.

According to the tuning company, this has raised the output to 362 HP (270 kW) and 510 Nm (376 lb-ft) of torque, which is a significant hike, achieved by mounting a sports exhaust system, modifying the air suction system, installing the bespoke high pressure fuel pump, a charging air cooler, different oil cooling system and much more. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 5.2 seconds in the modified version, 1.2 seconds quicker than the standard car. Top speed has also increased from 243 km/h (151 mph) to 270 km/h (168 mph). Prices for Stage 3 start at 7,950 EUR.
