The aftermarket specialists at ABT Sportsline have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgrade package for the Volkswagen Tiguan facelift.
According to the tuning company, the German SUV has receied a new front grille, a rear spoiler, a rear skirt set, a quad-pipe exhaust system, door strip attachments, suspension springs and spacers, bespoke floor mats, cargo mat and a set of 18- to 20-inch wheels, wrapped in sport tires.
“This SUV embodies fun and adventures and is thus fully in line with our portfolio”, says Hans-Jurgen Abt, the company’s CEO.
Changes applied onto the Volkswagen Tiguan facelift don’t stop here and they are being continued to the engines, where the 2.0 liter TDI with its 170 HP (125 kW) can now get 195 HP (143 kW), the 2.0 TDI with 140 HP (103 kW) can get 170 HP (125 kW) and the 110 HP (81 kW) version can produce 140 HP (103 kW). The 2.0 liter TSI can also be upgraded, and from 180 HP (132 kW) can produce 230 HP (169 kW), while the 211 HP (155 kW) can generate 260 HP (191 kW). Power upgrades are also available for the 1.4 liter TSI. No pricing details for the facelifted VW Tiguan made by ABT have been announced yet.
