The Japanese based aftermarket specialists from Wald International have officially pulled the wraps off their new styling program for the smallest crossover made by Lexus, the NX.
After being previewed just a few months ago, the Lexus NX by Wald International is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of the tuner, which has officially pulled the wraps off its body. The model in question has received a new styling package, which is making it look more aggressive. This includes the front lip spoiler, the new rear skirt, the extended fender flares and so on.
Wald International says that the Lexus NX can also be ordered with the tailgate mounted spoiler, with the rear door arrowheads and with the new set of alloy wheels. As far as the engine lineup goes, these have remained untouched and we can spot the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit, rated at 235 HP (175 kW) and 349 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. This also includes the hybridized 194 HP (145 kW) 2.5 liter unit.
The Lexus NX is a compact crossover which has been around since last year, after being officially revealed during the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, back in April. The model is currently being produced in Japan, at the Fukuoka plant, and it stands at 4,630.4 mm long, 1,869.4 mm wide and 1,645.9 mm tall, riding on a wheelbase of 2,660 mm long. The NX has a transverse front-engine and front-wheel / all-wheel drive layout, depending on the model selected.
