Wetterauer tunes the MINI Countryman, turning it to off-roader image

Wetterauer Engineering, a German tuner has come up with a package for the MINI Countryman lately that successfully transforms this all wheel drive model into a splendid off-roader.

As per the specs, the MINI Countryman 4×4 is powered by a 1.6 liter turbo that delivers 235 PS (173 kW / 232 bhp) and a torque of 355 Nm (262 lb-ft) from the series 184 PS (135 kW / 181 bhp) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft). The performance boosts with the help of an ECU remap. Besides, a carbon air box available from BMC and a new exhaust system available with matte colored ceramic tail pipes make the Countryman more aggressive and beautiful.

The tuner has also added ATS light alloy Precision rims that can be seen in 8.5 x 18 inch dimensions and are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza tires that are sized at 225/45R18.

The other addition includes H&R suspension springs for grumbling off-road support. This makes the car more supportive and impressive. However, this is not enough. The tuner has also worked on adding cosmetics to the MINI Countryman which flaunts its beauty wearing a matte brown paint with carbon fitted on the outside. The interior also boasts carbon fitting with a ‘Cobra’ labeled English leather upholstery adorning the carbon sport seats.

Apart from all the additions, the tuner has also added something unique that makes the entire package more attractive. A noticeable iPad multimedia dock enhances the glory of the MINI Countryman.
