German niche sports car manufacturer Wiesmann will present its brand new design study of the Wiesmann Spyder at the Geneva Motor Show.
Few details are available at this point, but the Wiesmann Spyder will be stripped down, lacking even doors or a even windscreen. We assume it’ll be based on the current Roadster, but Weismann stresses that it has not yet approved the Spyder model for production, and is bringing it to Geneva to gauge public opinion.
A possible production version (the car builder will wait until after Geneva to decide whether it will move forward or scrap the model) of what will be seen in Geneva won’t hit the roads before 2012 or 2013.
The release of the two-seater concept is combined with the release of the new MF4 and MF5 versions, which are outfitted with the 4.4-liter V8 twin turbo, direct injection petrol engine.
