The Ford Fiesta 1.0-liter EcoBoost has been recently voted as the Women’s World Car of the Year, a prestigious award which should make every male owner of the car feel proud.
The announcement has been made by the North American based automaker who said that the short list finalists included models like the Porsche Boxster S, the Range Rover and the Audi Allroad. The Ford Fiesta has been chosen by 18 female motoring writers who judged factors like the value for money, safety, aesthetic appearance, child friendliness, storage space, sex appeal, environmental footprint, color, ease of driving and more.
The Ford Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost is powered, just like it’s saying in its name, by a 1.0 liter EcoBoost engine, which is producing a total output of 125 HP (92 kW). The unit is emitting just 99 g/km of CO2. The 1.0 liter EcoBoost has already won the International Engine of the Year, which is truly a prestigious award, in 2012 and 2013. The new Women’s World Car of the Year award will be handed over in October, in London, during a special event.
