The winners of the Women’s World Car of the Year awards have been recently announced after the judges have voted on different criteria.
The Women’s World Car of the Year awards winners have been recently announced. These have been selected by female journalists from 15 countries who have vote on ten different criteria such as sex appeal, “wow” factor, comfort, storage, drive quality, design, function, appeal, style and value for money. The supreme winner was the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, in its new generation, as this has managed to collect the most points.
“There was considerable discussion among the judges earlier this year about our voting format and cars on the short list. The winning car companies can be justifiably proud of their achievement because it is very hard to get on the short list and to win a category, let alone the supreme trophy”, said the founder of Women’s World Car of the Year, Sandy Myhre.
On the second place, after the S-Class, we can find the Audi A8, being followed by the Tesla Model S. In the Family Car, the Audi A3 Sedan was the winner, the Audi S3 came in first in the Sports Car, the Honda Jazz / Fit in the Economy Car, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class in the Luxury Car, the Tesla Model S in the Green Car, the Range Rover Sport in the SUV and the Jaguar F-Type Coupe in the Dream Car category.
