xXx Performance delivers mad Ferrari 488 GTB packing more than 1,000 PS image

If Vin Diesel decided to reprise his action-packed but nonsensical role of adrenaline-fueled spy hero to make the Triple X movies a complete trilogy then he should definitely give a call to the guys at xXx Performance.

Oh wait, according to Diesel’s Instagram account, he is indeed filming a sequel to his “xXx” flick from 2002 – and people shouldn’t count in the State of the Union follow-up since it featured another actor and a different style. By the way, Diesel is involved in so many projects we think he’s going to work on them until retirement (he’s so obviously hinting at Marvel’s Inhumans, he’s got a Riddick follow-up planned as well and the Furious franchise now needs him more than ever). Man, let’s get back to the tuners over at xXx Performance, who have just decided to deliver a highly desirable Ferrari 488 GTB. And that’s because besides the outrageous modifications, they’re among the first to try their magic on the newly introduced 488 GTB.

So, we have the turbo 488 GTB that from the start packs 670 PS (493 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) thanks to its standard “doping” of the twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 engine. The first stage xXx Peformance kit dials the power to a more massive 750 PS (552 kW) and 830 Nm (613 lb-ft). If Xander Cage would have a say then he would definitely go for the stage two program that grows the 488 GTB to 850 PS (625 kW) and 930 Nm (687 lb-ft). And if you’re feeling nonsensical then you can always access the stage 3 package which comes with more than 1,000 PS (736 kW) and 1,250 Nm (923 lb-ft). That makes the 488 GTB even stronger than the track-only hybrid FXX K. No word on performance has been delivered, though we imagine these are absolutely mind-blowing, especially since the soundtrack as well has been altered by the new sports exhaust system with controllable flaps and larger downpipes.
