And it is looking just as it did a few months back when it first ended up in our news.
Do you remember this particular McLaren P1? Well, the model has returned in more revealing images which have been provided by the local Chinese automotive media. The hypercar is finished in the same green and yellow shades on its exterior design, coming with the silver 10-spoke wheels and the red, yellow and blue colors on its rear wing. It is definitely eye-catching but I would really say that in the “right” way.
In case you are wondering what is found under its hood, we will remind you that the entire McLaren modern lineup has the same 3.8 liter twin turbo V8, in various outputs. In this case, the petrol burner has 727 HP and 719 Nm of torque, being backed up by an electric motor, developed in-house, generating an extra 176 HP and 260 Nm of torque. The total output produced stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque and it is being sent to the rear-wheel drive through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The hybrid supercar needs just 2.8 seconds in order to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) and it can go all the way up to a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). From 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph), this needs just 16.5 seconds. Only 375 units of the P1 have been put together and all of them have been sold out.
