A yellow example of the impressive McLaren P1 has been recently spotted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where it was quietly sitting in a showroom.
The McLaren P1 is ending up in our news once again, this time with the hybrid supercar being spotted in Saudi Arabia. The model in question is finished in yellow and, while its sisters are currently being delivered to customers around the globe, it was spotted sitting quietly in a showroom, along with other expensive rides.
Power to the McLaren P1 is being provided by a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is good for 727 HP and 719 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque, available at 7,500 rpm. The unit is backed up by an in-house developed electric motor, which is providing an extra 176 HP and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque, raising the total output of the ride to 903 HP and 978 Nm (722 lb-ft) of torque. The powertrain is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission which is sending power to the rear wheels.
The British hybrid supercar can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 6.8 seconds and from 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph) in 16.5 seconds. Top sped has been electronically limited to 350 km/h (217 mph).
