The LP720-4 50th Anniversario coupe and Roadster are the first real special editions of the widely popular Lamborghini Aventador, and it looks like only one of each has a home in Mexico.
Now, the crew at Mexico Top Spott managed to surprise and photograph the only roadster that can be found in Mexico, which is also standing out thanks to the brightly colored yellow Mexico shade – which sets it apart from the other LP720-4 50th Anniversario currently on the streets.
Unleashed officially since 2011, the beastly two seater received its LP 720-4 50th Anniversario special edition 2013, limited to only 100 units for each version – coupe and roadster.
It features an increased engine output, with the same 6.5-liter V12 tweaked to churn out 720 hp – featuring a new specific engine calibration and additional expansive meshwork to further aid engine-compartment ventilation. The model exclusive Giallo Maggio color receives its sparkles via a layer of transparent and highly reflective particles. The design is further enhanced with new visual elements which also improve the already great aerodynamics.
The performance levels stay the same – with a stunning 0-100 km/h acceleration over in 2.9 seconds and the supercar capable of reaching a heart attack top speed of 350 km/h.
