The company has introduced a more powerful version of its E10 sports car, using the Ford Focus RS engine and packing 350 bhp at the price of 39,995 British pounds.
While the all new Focus Focus RS is still nowhere to be found in the automaker’s dealerships, there might be an option to experience its power – have the Zenos E10 R, dubbed as the “most thrilling Zenos model yet” and coming choke full of promises for “greater performance and driving thrills”. The 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine used by the Ford Focus RS has been packed in a lightweight sports car body and offers the same 350bhp and 349lb ft, enough to have the E10 R jump to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just three seconds and go up to 155 mph (250 km/h). The “standard” E10 has 40 percent less power – at 250 bhp – and also needs 4.5 seconds for the sprint. Modificatiosn also include a shorter gear stick, four-point racing harnesses and updated disc brakes with four-piston calipers – while the E10 R is also 10 kg lighter at a dry weight of just 700 kg.
“Thanks to its advanced architecture and natural balance, it was always clear that the E10 could handle even more power than the ‘S’ offers. Yet it is vital that any new Zenos model features the Zenos hallmark of affordability and the most accessible way to join the 500 bhp per tonne car club,” comments Zenos chief mark Edwards. The E10 R will be officially introduced to the public during the Autosport International show in January and will also be offered in limited-edition Drive Edition that comes packing a new interior trim and some unique paintwork, as well as adjustable dampers, a quick-release steering wheel and uprated master cylinders.
