The Big Apple will be home to a new special series coming from luxury Japanese automaker Lexus – the New York Auto Show featuring the premiere of the RC F Sport Black Line.
Not long ago, at the Chicago Auto Show, Lexus premiered new, bespoke versions of the RC F and GS F models – its tribute to fans and the company for the celebration of 10 years of performance. But there will be customers who aren’t willing to pay the lump of money associated with a special edition V8-powered car, so fortunately Lexus has another opportunity to secure some new fans. With the new Black Line special edition, Lexus proposes a special edition designer’s appearance package for the RC 300 and 350 F Sport models, limited to a mere 650 examples around the world.
There are two new exterior hues to talk about – Caviar and Atomic Silver – mimicking the similar Sport Black Edition revealed in Europe at the 88th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show. The theme is “stealth” so much of everything comes in either black… or black – although you could also select orange brake calipers. Inside, more of the same – black with orange contrast stitching, an exclusive new wood-steering with its bespoke black hue created by a Japanese calligraphy shop.
