Chevrolet has officially announced a series of interesting updates on the 2015 SS which should make the performance sedan even more popular.
After being officially unveiled last year and then banned from Israel because of its “nazi name”, generic order the Chevrolet SS is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with a series of updates announced for the 2015 model year. According to the car manufacturer, the 2015 Chevrolet SS is now coming with a new manual transmission and with the company’s Magnetic Ride Control. The 6-speed gearbox will become available as an option and this will be coming with the 3.70 rear axle.
Chevy says that the Magnetic Ride Control suspension will be standard and it will be assisting the performance sedan by reading the road several times per second and adjusting the suspension according to the surface. Other changes which will be applied to the model also include the Alchemy Purple and the Regal Peacock Green shades. Under the hood, the 2015 Chevrolet SS will be powered by the same 6.2 liter LS4 V8 engine, rated at 415 HP (309 kW) and 562 Nm (415 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint will stand in the 5-second zone.
