The aftermarket specialists at Superchips are offering a power boost to the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI Sport, which will cut down an impressive 1.1 seconds from the 0 to 60 mph acceleration time.
The Audi A1 powered by the 1.4 TFSI engine is now delivering 146 BHP at 6.168 rpm, 26 BHP more than the standard version, giving the little hatchback a 0 to 60 mph sprint time of 7.8 seconds, compared to the old 8.9.
“Thoroughly tested in both real and world driving conditions and on Superchips’ own in-house chassis dynamometer, the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI Sport ECU remap produces impressive gains. Power is boosted by a maximum 26 BHP at 6.168 rpm, with increases from as low as 2.000 rpm right throughout the operating range, up to the rev limiter at 6.500 rpm”, as the company explains.
According to Superchips, the remap available for both the six-speed manual and seven-speed semi-automatic transmissions is priced at 455 pounds, which is quite cheap for an extra boost.
