A trailer packed with several crashed BMW M3s, from the new generation, has been spotted on the road after the vehicles have been used in the Mission Impossible 5 filming.
We all know that in order to make an action movie as real as possible, some hot cars will be crashed along the way, but to hit a lot of BMW M3s from the newest generation makes absolutely no sense. What would be obvious is that the vehicles were actually standard underneath the M3 body, wheels and brakes, but considering the fact that actors such as Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin and Simon Peg are filming for Mission Impossible 5, chances are these are 100 percent real M3 F80s.
The fifth Mission Impossible movie will be out on the 25th of December, 2015, in the United States. As you probably know by now, the new generation of the BMW M3, the F80, has been unveiled in 2013. The fifth generation of the performance sedan is assembled in Regensburg, Germany, and it has a 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine under its hood. The unit is rated at 431 HP and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque, available between 1,850 rpm and 5,500 rpm. The unit is connected to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic, sending power to the rear wheels.
