The 2012 Olympic medalists who have represented India in the London Games have received an Audi Q5 each, while the others, who couldn’t get a medal, were awarded with a Suzuki SX4.
The 2012 London Olympics have ended for quite some time but that doesn’t mean that the athletes don’t get the center of attention even now and the best example in this case is coming all the way from India. According to Hindustan Times, the country’s Olympic medalists have received a brand new Audi Q5 SUV each, while the other ones, who were unable to get a medal, have received a special edition of the Suzuki SX4 sedans.
A brand new Audi Q5 SUV was taken home by wrestlers Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt, by shooter Gagan Narang and by Saina Nehwal of badminton. In total, India has won two silver and four bronze medals at the 2012 Olympic Games. Athletes who were unable to get a medal at the 2012 London Olympics were awarded with a Special Edition Suzuki SX4 each, which is a notable gift. The cars were offered by DLA, the largest realty firm in the country and sponsor of numerous countrywide sporting events, in a collaboration with the Indian government.
