Top Gear’s Season 14 Episode 1 is now available. On this episode: The team is racing on the best route in Romania – the Transfagarasan, the highest Romanian asphalt road (2000 meters) linking Transylvania to Wallachia. The cars? An Aston Martin, an Ferrari and course – an Lamborghini.

Also we will see how the Romanian Parliament Garage looks like.

hey. I'm from Romania and there are not a lot of gipsy's like u see here. The 3 guys went directly into gipsy villages… and that's not the right image of Romania.
and we are not fascinated of Dacia Sandero :)))))
The spot u see in the pub is an russian spot, that doesen't appear on the romanian television.
well… the Transfagarasan road is really amazing.

I agree with you Ludagrizz, but come on, it was done in a very funny way. And the ones selling grapes nearby the motorway..that's a true thing tho we don't have only 180 miles of motorway but twice as that (i know it is very little) . As you probably noticed Clarkson on purpose covered his stories with the cliches the people from west Europe has about easterners… a smell of comunism, huge buildings done maybe by russians or north koreans.. hahah that one was a good one, the comercials on tv were in russian .. haha another funny thing as romanian resembles with russian as much as chinesse with english. But after all, the Stelvio got usurped from its throne, yet I wouldn't claim (as they did) that it is the best road in the world.. just that it is there.. in the (let;s say) first 5 roads in the world. My idea is that Stelvio is more concetrated while Transfagarasan is longer and diversified. All the best and enjoy the show

Another great episode from the Top Gear guys and what a lovely country to test the cars in. The Transfagarasan road looks like a really nice place to take a drive and discover what Romania has to offer.

I am soooo jealous of these guys; imagine going to work and your boss informing you that today you will be driving around Romania in a Supercar.

Also really funny to see the guys sitting in the back of a car for a change, it’s as if they really didn’t know what to do. Very amusing!
