A new upgrade package for the new BMW 1-Series has been recently presented by the aftermarket specialists at Tuningwerk, who have announced that the powerful German vehicle is now developing an impressive 521 HP.
According to the guys at Tuningwerk, the BMW 1-Series has been fitted with a new body kit made out of a rear spoiler, boot lid, engine hood and a GT4 front lip, all of these made out of carbon fiber, while the interior is coming with a fresh pair of PolePosition Recaro sports seats which are playing their role in saving weight. The tuner is also adding a fresh set of 19-inch rims, wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx tires, which are covering the 370 mm and 380 mm carbon ceramic brake discs.
“The fact that the TUNINGWERK company specializes in BMW models, has geographical grounds, as Puchheim is a catchment area of Munich and probably rater the other way round. The BMW head office is situated in Munich. On the other hand, the question was only in time for the well-acknowledged BMW models that the 1st BMW M-Version would appear. TUNINGWERK has given it no other name than the 1s M RS”, as the tuner is saying in its official press release.
Under the hood, the M RS is coming with the upgraded 3.0 liter engine which is now developing a total output of 521 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 614 Nm (453 lb-ft). The model can accelerate up to an impressive top speed of 300 km/h ir 186 mph. There is no official word on the price tag just yet.
