British supercar manufacturer, Aston Martin unveiled the Project AM 310 today at Concorso D’Eleganza Villa d’Este. The vehicle reveals just how the DBS replacement will look.
Project AM 310 is understood to have drawn lessons from Aston’s One-77 supercar, including its use of lightweight materials and the power extracted from its familiar V12 engine. No it does’t have 700hp, but it has however 575bhp.
Aston celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2013, but this new model will go on sale before then, priced at around £190,000.
Interestingly, the reason Aston Martin are calling this the AM 310 at the moment is not because they haven’t come up with a new name, but because by giving it a ‘Concept’ name they can enter it in to the Concept category at the Villa D’Este show.
