After showcasing its Mopar brand at auto show exhibits throughout the U.S., Chrysler will now show the Jeep Wrangler Arctic Edition vehicle for the first time at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It will be sold only in Europe.
According to the automaker, the special edition Jeep was inspired by the terrain found in its namesake land, as it provides the grueling and demanding environments the Wrangler was engineered to conquer. What we know is that Wrangler Arctic is based on Sahara, comes with a light blue exterior color, black 17-inch alloy wheels and Yeti-inspired badging.
Arctic is powered by the new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 petrol engine matched with the automatic five-speed transaxle or by the 2.8-liter turbo diesel powertrain paired with a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. Like the diesel engine, expect the entire Arctic Edition package to remain unattainable in the U.S. and Canada.
On the same time, Chrysler Group LLC announced today that they will demonstrate a Moparized Jeep Wrangler vehicle for the first time at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany which opens tomorrow.
