Both the C 63 Coupe and C 63 S Coupe use Mercedes-AMG’s handcrafted 4.0-litre V8 (M177), constructed from aluminium alloy and featuring twin turbochargers. The standard C 63 produces 469bhp at 5,500–6,250rpm and 479lb ft from 1,750–4,500rpm. The C 63 S increases output to 503bhp and 516lb ft, delivered across the same rev ranges.
