Volkswagen will be offering CC and Alltrack versions of the new-gen Passat as the model should enter production soon.
The new generation of the Volkswagen Passat is already available to its future buyers in two versions, sedan and wagon, but more variants are ready to be introduced by the German based automaker, the CC and the Alltrack. The announcement has been made by Klaus Bischoff, the company’s chief designer, but an official launch date hasn’t been made official. Rumor has it that the current CC will remain in production for approximately two more years, so the new CC might be introduced sometimes in 2016.
The design of the new Volkswagen Passat CC will not be a surprise to anyone because all you have to do is imagine that sloping roof line, along with some minor tweaks made to the body. The interior design will be updated too in order to become sportier. As far as the new Volkswagen Passat Alltrack goes, this will receive the plastic body cladding and the all-wheel drive system. The engine lineup will be carried over from the sedan and from the wagon. More details on the two models are limited for the moment.
