Nissan and Apple have recently signed an agreement for iTunes Radio for automobiles.
This new agreement between Nissan and Apple will make the Japanese automaker the “exclusive automotive launch partner” for iTunes Radio, a title which he will keep for the entire year. The iTunes Radio was released at the beginning of this month on the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, through the mobile operating system iOS7.
Nissan’s exclusive content will be available on Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, iPod, PC and Mac and the custom iTunes Radio content will be integrated in the Nissan LEAF and the Nissan Versa Note.
Jon Brancheau, vice president, Marketing, Nissan North America, said that the automaker also plans to take the next step with the iAd on iTunes Radio , in an attempt to maximize support for the upcoming campaigns, including the Heisman Trophy Tour. This will also be included in the 2014 Nissan Rogue theme “Make the Ordinary Extraordinary” and in future commercials for the model.
The iTunes Radio is also available for the public on many Apple mobile devices, especially the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c. Using the mobile operating system iOS7 customers will be able to access the iTunes Radio to listen to various music tracks.
