The upcoming Nissan GT-R Nismo has been recently caught on camera, by our spy photographers, on the track, in action.
The Japanese based automaker Nissan has already confirmed the launch of the new GT-R Nismo in 2014 and now the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some spy photos, which are showing the model in action, on the track. The camouflage on its body suggests that besides the Nismo badges, the new version of the GT-R will also get some tweaks to the lighting units, to the front and rear bumpers, to the side skirts and so on, which will improve the model aerodynamically and will also help it stand out from a crowd.
The brand new Nissan GT-R Nismo is expected to get a modified version of the twin turbo V6 engine under its hood, which should produce just over 570 HP. Thanks to some modifications made to its braking system, steering, suspension and to some weight loosing, the new Nissan GT-R Nismo is expected to be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a staggering 2.0 seconds. Prices for the model are believed to start at just over 100,000 euros. Additional details on the new Nissan GT-R Nismo are limited for the moment and will be announced probably at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, in November.
