The German based automaker Porsche has announced that a new model will be presented at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show, which will share the same “space” with the new generation of the 911 in the form of the Carrera and Carrera S, previewed earlier this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Porsche is planning to gain some customers on the way by attending the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show and even if no one know what the mystery model will be, the latest spy photos tell us that the new Boxter might be the star of the event, but a convertible version of the 911 is also rumored.
According to the Stuttgart car manufacturer, the new model will be “a car with high benefits, a dynamic aspect, dedicated to the driving pleasure”. After this description we better wait for the model to be officially presented at the L.A. event rather than talk nonsense about what it can actually be.
As a reminder, the new generation of the 911 is powered by the 3.4 liter engine in the Carrera, developing 345 HP, while the Carrera S is equipped with a larger boxer unit, with a displacement of 3.8 L, generating 394 HP.
The new Porsche 911 generation and the “surprise” model will be presented at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show which will officially open its gates on the 16th of November.
