The Japanese based automaker Subaru has recently announced that an updated version of the BRZ STI concept will be officially presented at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon, along with a BRZ by Prova and a G4 STI concept.
According to the car manufacturer, next year’s Tokyo Auto Salon will host the updated version of the Subaru BRZ STI concept, the BRZ Black Edition by Prova and the Impreza G4 STI concept, amongst others. The Subaru BRZ STI concept isn’t actually a new appearance and the vehicle has already seen daylight at the Los Angeles Auto Show, earlier this year, but the version for the Tokyo Auto Salon will come with carbon fiber engine hood and roof, a front under spoiler, an STI trunk spoiler, STI sport muffler, STI flexible tower bar, STI lower springs, Bilstein absorbers, Brembo brakes and the STI 18 inch aluminum whels.
Subaru says that the Impreza G4 STI concept is actually based on the new Impreza G4 2.0i-S, and this modl will also receive the STI makeover, with some front under spoiler, side under spoiler, rear trunk spoiler, skirt lip, shift knob – CVT, sport muffler, flexible tower bar, low down spring, 18 inch aluminum wheels and stainless steel mesh brake hose, all of them wearing the STI name. Besides these two models, Subaru will present, at the same Japanese event next month, the production version of the Imprza Sport Custom, the Impreza WRX STI, the Impreza WRX STI Group R4, the Legacy B4 GT300, the BRZ GT300 and the Boxer plus Next generation D4-S engine.
