Volkswagen has introduced a limited edition of the old Passat generation in the United States where the model in question is currently available for order.
Americans are stuck with the old generation of the Volkswagen Passat but this has recently become hotter thanks to the introduction of a new Limited Edition. According to the car manufacturer, the U.S.-spec version of the Passat is bringing extra kit worth of 2,755 USD and the customer will only pay 1,555 USD for it, compared to the S model, resulting in savings of 1,200 USD.
The vehicle is brining standard items such as the push-button start, the keyless access, the power 8-way driver’s seat, the rearview camera, the 17-inch alloy wheels, the V-tex leatherette seating surfaces, heated front seats, SiriusXM touch screen radio, 8-speaker sound system, leather wrapped steering wheel, gear shifter and parking brake, chrome window surrounds, front fog lights and several other tweaks to help it become hotter than the standard version.
The model in question is offering a 15.9 cubic foot trunk and a class-leading rear seat legroom, just like the rest of the Passat range. The Volkswagen Passat Limited Edition, made in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is taking its power from the 1.8 liter turbocharged direct injected four-cylinder EA288 TSI engine. This is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission which is allowing the model to burn an average of 24 / 36 mpg in city / highway.
