After a series of rumors about it’s position, finally, we can confirm that Audi quattro Concept 2.5T FSI engine will be mounted longitudinal.

Audi AG’s PR department told fourtitude that the engine cover had been lifted for someone at Paris and photos did exist but since that time the decision had been made not to allow photos because the mill had not been entirely prepped for photography to a level at which Audi design would be satisfied.

Power output for the Quattro concept is rated at 408 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. All that energy is put to the ground through Audi’s famous quattro torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system, which in this case is setup with a 40:60 rear-biased torque split.
