Having a serious competition from the Ford S-Max, Vauxhall has announced the new Zafira Tourer price for United Kingdom, during the Frankfurt Motor Show where the model was revealed, which is undercutting its rival by more than 1.200 pounds.
Vauxhall says that it’s offering two new engines for the 2012 Zafira Tourer, a 1.4 petrol and a 2.0 CDTi diesel with three outputs, including the ecoFLEX version which is emitting only 119g of CO2 evey kilometer, joined by a 1.8 liter petrol unit.
“The production car’s design has deviated very little from the Geneva concept, illustrating design-chief, Mark Adams’ continued influence on the look of all new Vauxhall products, and reinforcing his ‘Sculptural artistry meets technical precision’ mantra”, says Vauxhall in an official statement.
The entry-level Zafira Tourer is priced at 21.000 pounds and for the money it offers the 1.8 ES engine with its 140 horsepower, along with features like air conditioning, cruise control, six airbags, 7-speaker sound system, Flex7 seating, DAB, MP3/Aux In connections and active headrests.
Vauxhall has put a price on safety systems in its new Zafira Tourer, like the Traffic Sign Recognition, Side Blind Spot Alert and Advance Park Assist.
According to the automaker, sales of the new Zafira Tourer will start from the 1st of November this year and the base-level is priced at £21.000.
