Well, not so much actually – because it’s actually not presenting the entire car, just the headlights which seem to spread across the entire width of the car.
There are countless new electric vehicle startups today claiming they can be better than Tesla Motors – and many among them have popped up like in the past 12 months or so. For example, we have Faraday Future – the topic of our discussion – but there’s also Lucid Motors for example who moved faster than the former and has already presented the Air luxury electric sedan. Back to Faraday Future, we remember first hearing about them – this is because it happened so little time ago. In January this year they came up to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show with a show off supercar.
Now just one year later they are set to introduce their first production series model – once again at CES in Las Vegas. But before the first part of next January comes up, we’re still getting a long stream of teaser photos and videos to keep the hype up. And the latest one has to do with the headlights of the model, an SUV designed to mostly tackle the Model X from the aforementioned Tesla. The spot showcases the full-length headlight fixture with FF logo – which is consistent with the taillight design showcased in the previous teaser. Riding on a proprietary “Variable Platform Architecture,” the still unnamed SUV will be given a 92-kilowatt-hour battery pack for a range of 300 miles (482 kilometers) and a 60 mph (96 kmh) time of less than three seconds.
