American tuner Hennessey Performance has pulled the wraps off a modified Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, which was named the HPE700.
Hennessey Performance is mostly known for modifying American muscle cars but it seems that the tuner is expanding its activities and the latest creations signed by the company is a German executive sedan, the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, named the HPE700. The name of the luxurious vehicle is coming, obviously, from its power output, and the engine used by the model is now producing 700 HP.
The North American based aftermarket specialists say that the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG HPE700 is coming with an HPE engine management calibration, HPE air induction system modification, professional installation, Hennessey exterior badging, serial numbered dash and engine plaques, dyno tuning and a 3-year or 36,000-mile limited warranty.
The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG HPE700 is still powered by the same 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 engine developed by AMG, but after a few tweaks, the muscular car is now developing a total output of 700 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 800 lb-ft. No additional details on the HPE700 have been announced yet.
