2011 Opel Corsa OPC Nurburgring Edition: Hottest Hatch in the Family image

The hottest hatch from Opel is making its way to the OPC family. This new member is named as Corsa OPC Nurburgring Edition which is limited with 500 units.

Just a little difference is making this edition (Corsa OPC) special from the Nurburgring Edition. And that difference is of the engine which delivers 210 horsepower rather than the standard 192 horsepower by combining with the 169 lb-ft of torque which in the standard version is 184 lb-ft.

The new engine has got more potential in this edition and offers a sprint in just 6.8 seconds from 0-60 mph. With this, it easily makes a top speed of 142 mph. All together, one can say it’s a part of business since the company is preparing itself to unveil the hottest hatch ever produced by Opel, but with limited edition. To add more features in Opel Corsa OPC Nurburgring Edition, a mechanical multi-plate limited slip differential is been added that ensures extra traction and drive stability. Besides, this edition has also got a high-performance Brembo braking system, a newly developed Blistein’s sports chassis, stability management systems, traction control, and recalibrated the ABS.

The exterior of Opel Corsa OPC Nurburgring Edition has received 18 inch alloys fitted in 35-series low profile rubber, a new front spoiler, requisite special badges, and dual-tipped stainless-steel exhaust. With two new colors – Henna red and Grasshopper green this new example is ready to join the catalog of Opel’s special edition.
