After the picture of a tunnel with the text “An all new CR-V is coming”, Honda manufacturer “kept its word” and the first picture of the new CR-V generation was released, in concept form.
Even though the officials at Honda are used to show different versions of the production car, this can most probably be the new generation of the CR-V, with the big possibility of keeping most of its exterior design when hitting the dealers.
“With a new design, both inside and out, new features and new possibilities, the 2012 CR-V will set a new standard for the class”, says a Honda press release.
The future Honda CR-V could also keep its powertrain option, with the 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine, which is developing 180 HP and 161 lb-ft of torque, powering the new model.
The 2012 Honda CR-V will hit dealerships later this year and its sale price will be announced sometimes in this autumn.
