The future generation of the Dacia Logan has recently leaked in what seem to be official images, ahead of its public debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
After initial rumors were saying that the new generation of the Dacia Logan will be based on the Fluence or on the Scala, which was recently unveiled in India, the guys at automobile-magazine.fr have managed to get their hands on the latest images with the Romanian budget sedan. From what we can see from the images posted below, the all-new Dacia Logan is adopting a modern design which reminds us of the Duster and even of the Lodgy MPV but which is bringing its own identity to the model.
The front design of the Dacia Logan 2 is shared with the future generation of the Dacia Sandero, starting with the front grille, the headlights and ending with the taillights, which also get a similar design. The all-new Dacia Logan will also receive a three-cylinder turbocharged TCe 90 engine, which made its debut on the Twingo and Clio. The new engine will offer 90 HP and 135 Nm of torque, enough to allow the Clio to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 12.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 182 km/h.
Average fuel consumption for the new engine will stand at 4.5L/100km which is expected to be improved by the Start/Stop system. The 1.5 dCi diesel will also be available on the new Logan, with new transmissions, and the model will also get the 75 HP 1.2L and the 105 HP 1.6L. More details on the all-new Dacia Logan will be announced on the 27th of September in Paris.
