The 2015 Ford Mustang has just started its production today, the 14th of July, 2014, in coupe body style, while the convertible version will hit the assembly line two months later.
The North American based automaker Ford has recently announced the production start of the new Mustang generation, in coupe body style. The model has become quite a hit on the Old Continent where the fist 500 units were reserved in just 30 seconds, during the UEFA Champions League final and more than 9,300 people have registered for the chance of ordering such a muscle car.
If the new generation of the Ford Mustang is on your mind, you should know that the coupe will be the first one to hit the market and the convertible will follow shortly, as this will be hitting the production line on the 15th of September. Sales dates for the regular muscle car will begin on the 9th of September and its convertible brother will go on sale on the 27th of October. The cheapest version of the model will come with a V6 under its hood, rated at 300 HP and 365 Nm of torque, the mid-range will be a 2.3L four-cylinder EcoBoost, with 305 HP an 406 Nm of torque and the GT will have a 420 HP and 528 Nm of torque 5.0 liter V8 under its hood.
