A new image is bringing the upcoming Porsche 911 Targa into the spotlights once again as this is the most representative one which has made its way onto the web so far.
The German based automaker Porsche has apparently created the new 911 Targa as the first real image with the model has recently made its way onto the web. The photo posted above has been published by Quattroute Magazine and it’s showing that representative rear end of the Targa which is based, in this case, on the 991. The model in question has received a retro look which should make the company’s fans all mushy about this version, which is highlighted by the bulky B-pillar, by the fixed glass rear window and the removable section.
The upcoming 2015 Porsche 911 Targa is said to get a choice of two engines, like the 3.4 liter flat six-cylinder unit, with its 350 HP (257 kW) and 390 nm (288 lb-ft) of torque, and the larger 3.6 liter flat six-cylinder, which is developing a total output of 400 HP (294 kW) and it has a peak torque of 440 Nm (324 lb-ft). The first one will be used in the 911 Targa while the latter will be seen on the 911 Targa S. Rumors are saying that the sports car pictured above will be officially unveiled during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in March.
