The Aston Martin DB9 has been named Britain’s favourite supercar, in a survey commissioned by Manheim Auctions. The British automaker had some fierce competition from Italy and Germany, but somehow the DB9 managed to pull ahead of its rivals.
The Audi R8 was voted the second-favourite supercar by participants in the poll, followed by the Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Gallardo and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
Craig Mailey, marketing director at Manheim Auctions, said: “The Aston Martin DB9 has to be one of the most well-known, best-loved supercars ever made.
“Synonymous with speed, style and glamour and already gaining an iconic status – it’s little wonder that the car has been voted favourite in our supercar poll.”
