Jaguar XK and XKR Special Edition announced
Two special editions of the Jaguar XK and the Jaguar XKR have been recently announced by the British based automaker.
According to the car manufacturer, the special edition is available in both coupe and convertible forms and the models stand out of the crowd thanks to features like the 20 inch alloy wheels or the exclusive Celestial Black paint. The cabin hasn’t been left aside either by the company’s designers and this now adopts an Artisan interior which is bringing stainless steel pedals, leather sport seats, dark figured aluminum trim, Frau leather headliner, a Bowers & Wilkins Audio system and unique sill plates.
“Every Jaguar XK represents a compelling combination of advanced engineering and cosseting luxury, yet the latest additions to the evolving range – the XK and XKR Special Edition models – further enhance that luxury quality through the introduction of hand-crafted ‘Artisan’ interiors”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
Just like the standard model, the special editions of the XK and XKR are still powered by the 5.0 liter V8 engine which is developing a total output of 380 horsepower in the XK, while in the XKR the unit is generating 503 horsepower. The two special editions will be available in Europe and are currently available for order. Prices for the Coupe start at GBP77,350 and for the Convertible at GBP82,500.
