The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently announced its plans to offer a limited Edition 1 version of the new S-Class generation.

According to the car manufacturer, the brand new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Edition 1 will become available only in the first 12 months of production. This will follow the Edition 1 version of other models, like the A45 AMG or the CLA, which were adding extra equipment. Mercedes-Benz says that the S-Class Edition 1 can be ordered in bright diamond white or blue anthracite metallic colors and it will receive features like the LED headlights as standard, along with a panoramic sunroof and the Edition 1 badges fitted on the fenders.

The interior design of the model can be had with Nappa leather on the seats with contrast stitching, Mercedes-Benz illuminated logos on the sill plates, DINAMICA microfiber on the top of the instrument panel, front and rear door panels and center armrest, Nappa grab handles with contrast stitching and some other tweaks. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Edition 1 will also come with parking, driver assistance, air balance package and ambient lighting, which are all available as options on the standard model. The S-Class Edition 1 will be available at an extra 19,706 euros, VAT included, in Germany.
