Mercedes-Benz has revealed the CLA45 AMG Edition 1, a special version of its compact performance saloon featuring a raft of cosmetic upgrades and exclusive interior details. The Edition 1 package is available for a limited period alongside the standard CLA45 AMG, targeting buyers seeking a more distinctive appearance without mechanical changes.
On the outside, the Edition 1 stands out with graphite grey AMG sport stripes running along the body, complemented by muscular side skirts and a high-gloss black rear spoiler. The car sits on 19-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels finished in matte black, and the look is completed by chrome tailpipes. These elements mark the Edition 1 apart from the standard CLA45 AMG, which comes with 18-inch wheels and more subdued trim.
Interior changes and standard equipment
Inside, Mercedes-Benz has given the Edition 1 a sportier finish, with black and red upholstery, red contrast stitching and AMG badging throughout the cabin. The steering wheel is wrapped in Alcantara, adding a tactile touch not found on the regular model. The Edition 1 specification also includes Bluetooth connectivity, a 5.8-inch media display, paddle shifters and power-adjustable front seats as standard. These features build on the already generous equipment list of the base CLA45 AMG.

Performance figures remain unchanged, with the focus of the Edition 1 on exclusive styling rather than increased output or handling upgrades.
