The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The vehicle’s public debut comes a month after the final production version has been unveiled. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG is already available for order in several countries across the Old Continent and the model is expected to be a hit among those who are looking for luxury, comfort, the latest technologies, safety features and a lot of power.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG is powered by a 5.5 liter V8 biturbo engine, developed by AMG, which is producing a total output of 585 HP and it has a peak torque of 900 Nm. The model can come with either the traditional rear-wheel drive or with the company’s 4MATIC all-wheel drive setup. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint in the new S63 AMG takes just 4.0 seconds or 4.4 seconds, depending on the version chosen, and the top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
