The first leaked images with the new generation of the Renault Megane have ended up on the web.
Renault will be premiering the new generation of the Megane next week, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, but before this will happen, a set of leaked images with the popular French hatchback has hit the web. The model in question is completely different compared to its predecessor and it has been heavily inspired by the Talisman, in its front fascia at least. The vehicle has received the LED headlights with the C-shaped daytime running lights, along with the new sporty bumper, the large Renault logo and so on.
The 2016 Renault Megane is also getting the LED taillights, along with the stylish roof spoiler. The overall design of the body is sportier and more muscular and it is bringing it closer to its smaller brother, the Clio. The vehicle pictured below is in the GT trim level and it is adding the GT badging, the sporty rear diffuser, the sporty insert in the front bumper and a dual exhaust system, amongst others.
The interior design of the car has received the sports leather seats, the fully digital instrument cluster, the large central display similar to the ones used in the Espace and the Talisman, steering wheel mounted paddle shifters for the automatic transmission version, a dual-zone climate control and several other goodies. Additional details on the 2016 Renault Megane are limited at this point but you can check it out in the photo gallery posted below before it will debut at the German automotive event.
