Skoda has recently released the first official images with the new VisionC Concept, which is offering a first preview of a future production model.
The Czech based automaker Skoda has already announced its plans to introduce the so-called VisionC Concept during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and now, a few days ahead of the automotive event, the carmaker has released the first images with the model. The Skoda VisionC Concept will eventually give birth to a production model which will fill the gap between the current Octavia and the Superb, and it will play a major role in the company’s future sale targets.
The production version of the Skoda VisionC Concept will be riding on the same MQB platform as the regular Octavia version, as the new Golf or as the new A3 generations, amongst others, and it will borrow a lot of the styling cues of this one-off vehicle. The production model will be getting engines ranging in the capacity from 1.4 to 2.0 liters, along with FWD and optional AWD. The VisionC Concept stands at approximately 4,700 mm in length and 1,820 mm in width and it has enough space for four adults and their luggage, as the carmaker is saying. More details on the model are currently limited and will be announced during the Swiss automotive event.
