Volkswagen has officially announced that the CC facelift will debut in Europe next month and it will debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show too.
After the Volkswagen CC facelift has been officially presented to the public at the Los Angeles Auto Show not too long ago, the German based automaker has announced that the model will debut in Europe too. The European premiere of the Volkswagen CC facelift is expected to be made at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, but until then, the car manufacturer has announced that the model will be revealed next month.
The refreshed version of the Volkswagen CC has brought some new technologies and features, like the bi-xenon headlights, adaptive fog lights, LED tail lights, aluminum insertions, multi-function steering wheel, a camera which is detecting road signs and a system which is adjusting the headlights according to other vehicles on the road, named the Dynamic Light Assist. The model is also coming with the Side Assist Plus with Lane Assist, which are responsible for watching the driving lane and the dead angle, while the options list is finished with the seats, which can be equipped with massage or climate features.
Under the hood, the facelifted VW CC will come with six engines, three diesels and three petrols, and future customers who want lower fuel consumption can choose the 2.0 TDI with 140 and 170 horsepower, fitted with start/stop and regenerative braking energy. Besides these, there will also be a Blue TDI developed on the 140 HP unit, which will meet the Euro 6 emission standards, coming in 2014. Petrol fans will be able to choose engines with 160, 210 and 300 horsepower. All engines will be available with the DSG automatic transmission and some of them will also get the 4Motion all-wheel drive.
