The German tuners at Boba Motoring have recently unveiled their latest creation, an insane Volkswagen Golf II with 920 horsepower.
The Volkswagen Golf MKII is quite old but that doesn’t mean that the model doesn’t have anything left up its sleeves, and with the help of some aftermarket specialists, the vehicle can smoke out even a Ferrari 458 Italia, a Lamborghini Aventador or a McLaren MP4-12C. According to Boba Motoring, the Volkswagen Golf in question has been fitted with a billet steel crankshaft, forged pistons, steel connecting rods and a KR 16-valve cylinder head. These aren’t the only modifications and we can also tell you about the 4MOTION four-wheel drive system or the Garrett GTX4202R turbocharger.
The old German vehicle is powered by a 1.8 liter engine, with a 1 diesel block, and thanks to the modifications enlisted above, the model now has a whopping 920 horsepower (686 kW) when running an E85 fuel. The impressive amount of power is being sent to a 4MOTION four-wheel drive system. The Volkswagen Golf II in question is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds, while the 0 to 200 km/h acceleration is done in 6.0 seconds. The model is finishing a quarter mile in 9.08 seconds. You can watch it in action in the video posted below. Enjoy!
